Extraction Arms 
Fabricating, finishing, and processing operations produce a variety of airborne contaminants. The dirty air that results can negatively impact productivity, facility,
and equipment maintenance costs. To effectively remove particulate from the air, these operations require the most proficient collection method available—source
-capture. So efficient, this method captures contaminants at the source and challenges conventional ambient air filtration systems.
Extraction Arms can be positioned to draw fumes and dust before they reach the worker’s breathing zone. These collectors have the flexibility to allow you to tailor a
system to meet your requirements. You can use an Extraction Arm with its optional exhaust fan, or it can be included as standard component of any collection system. Whatever your space, access,
filtration or recirculation needs are, you can adapt an Extraction Arm to fit your application.
Extraction Arms have positive friction joints with which the operator can position the hood precisely above the work
area. A damper in the vertical arm duct regulates airflow for efficient energy consumption. Two diameter arms -- 6”
and 8” -- in arm lengths of 10-ft and 14-ft are available. An optional in-hood light kit is available for increased operator visibility.
