MODULAR DUST CATCHER

ModularDustCatcherAFinally, an answer for those critical cleaning operations where blow-off should be used but the threat of the released airborne contaminants reappearing elsewhere in the environment are a concern. 

The Modular Dust Catcher is an economical, self-contained free-standing system for multi-stage media air cleaning of dust, shavings, and other airborne contaminants released from blow-off operations. The Modular Dust Catcher is an ideal choice for light to medium duty blow-off applications in all environments including Cleanrooms.

Lightweight and portable -- 31 lbs, 22” tall as shown -- the unit can be placed at a workstation or near a conveyor where blow-off cleaning is performed.  By positioning the unit opposing the blow-off, removed particulate is captured by the hood, filtered from the air, and not returned to the environment.

A backward curved motorized impeller draws particulate laden air through a disposable prefilter, a MERV 8 pleated intermediary filter, and finally through a high efficiency final filter with your choice of a MERV 15, 95% HEPA, or a 99.97% HEPA. Clean filtered air is returned to the environment through the top of the unit. Large particles fall into a dust bin for easy removal from the area.

The Modular Dust Catcher (pictured above) is designed for maximum flexibility to match your needs. The top third of the unit is the Blower Module.  The middle third of the unit is the Filter Module.  See the below table for filter choices and filter efficiencies.  The bottom third of the unit is the Capture Module.  Choose from our standard offerings or consult with us for the hood design best suited for your application.
